Ethanol division has two units
1. Dhanunka Biotech Pvt. Ltd. – 350KLPD.
2. Dhanuka Soya Pvt. Ltd. (ethanol division) – 350 KLPD.
These units are state-of-the-art grain-based dedicated plant for ethanol production in Neemuch 700KLPD. In support of the Ethanol Promotion Policy by the Govt. of India, Dhanuka group aims to meet the demand for ethanol in the country. The facilities in the heart of India is equipped to produce 700KLPD of ethanol and 450 tons of DDGS per day. Thus, they will process combined 1600 Tons of grains having a starch range of approximately 60-68%. With futuristic technology and international technical standards and grain storage capacity of 80000 tons, this facility will be one of its kind in India.Product

Process
- Ethanol (CH3CH2OH)is a colourless, volatile and flammable liquid that is used to make rectified spirits. This is further used in manufacturing alcoholic beverages. It is also used as a solvent for many products that make it possible for human consumption
- Ethanol is also used for blending with petrol
- It is made by fermentation of sugars. The reaction between yeast and sugar produces ethanol and carbon dioxide
- In humid temperature climates, it can be also produced from grains such as maize, corn, rice etc.
